Malcolm joined the department to share his experience of technology management in industry. His teaching and research interests centre on innovation, technological change and technology strategy, with a particular focus on environmental technologies. He is Course Team Chairman of T846 Technology strategy. His recent papers have covered the inception of a new technology, entrepreneurial strategy and the complex drivers influencing the adoption of bioenergy technology.
