Paul Morley
I have been a student with the Open University for many years now,
studying a mixed bag of engineering and mathematics courses. Now I am a
part time research student, and also a tutor (Associate Lecturer) on the
course T211 - Design & Designing.
In my occasional spare time, I play cello with the Banbury Symphony
Orchestra, and I - together with my wife - run a karate club in Banbury.
I am married with two cats, and I live in Cropredy, Oxfordshire, home of
the world famous Fairport Convention music festival.

Current Projects
My PhD research is into the use of genetic and evolutionary algorithms
to generate artificial neural networks. I am interested in developing
unsupervised systems, which can automatically adapt to data presented in
order to classify different objects, presented to a computer vision
system.
