Systems Practice |
The concept of a system embodies the notion of a collection of elements
connected to form a whole. The act of thinking about the world in terms
of 'systems' is called systems thinking. It is claimed: 'Clear systems
thinking is one of the basic literacies of the modern world, not least
because it offers unexpected insights that are not amenable to common
sense'. This is its great value; it can enable you to go beyond common
sense, so as to make new sense of situations of complexity that include
both problems and opportunities. By studying our courses, you will begin
to think differently and creatively about social and technological issues
and develop new skills for managing and decision making. Courses on offer
introduce a broad range of approaches to systems thinking and practice.
