The engineering courses offered by the Faculty cover a wide range of topics. They provide an opportunity to pursue a degree profile in general engineering, with an element of specialism if desired. All of the Faculty's courses are relevant to engineering study and can count towards the BSc (Hons) Technology. The courses listed below have a particularly strong engineering focus and form the core of most BEng and MEng profiles. Graduates with a BSc (Hons) Technology, BEng or MEng may be eligible to apply to the UK Engineering Council for professional recognition.

The learning outcomes for the engineering courses are closely aligned with the Quality Assurance Agency's benchmark statements for engineering, involving the acquisition of appropriate knowledge and understanding, intellectual abilities, practical skills and general transferable skills.
